Question: |
Hey CT, first off I wanted to say thanks for the quick service and shipping, the item came without a problem. Its even greater than I imagined from the pictures. Personally I do not have much experience with fob watches and was just curious how the battery is supposed to be properly inserted. I figured it would be safer to ask before I go prying on things unnecessarily. Also, is it normal for the top dial to spin freely and without any restriction? I wasn't sure if there was a way to lock the spinning dial in place once the time was set. Thanks for your help, and I look forward to purchasing more items in the future.

Hi Mike, the back needs to be prised off using a thin blade, like an Exacto or small flat bladed screwdriver. Lift the plastic insert and insert the supplied battery into the movement replacing the plastic retainer once done. The time is set by pulling out the 'crown' which is the knob at the top of the watch and rotating it. Once finished setting push the crown back. Once it has been pushed down it will turn freely which is normal but the hands won't rotate. |
