My Ultimate Edition Sonic certainly feels a lot lighter than I expected, but the moment I picked it up, hit the switch, and moved the slider, my brain almost exploded.

Having seen and felt the MFX replica, I can certainly say that it is very similar at a first glance. But the extra accuracy in the paint color, the angles of the ridges, and the fact that it ACTUALLY MAKES THE CORRECT SOUND (where the MFX was completely silent) shows that the CT Ultimate Edition is truly as close as you can get to having the actual prop used by David Tennant himself (and even HIS didn't make the sound)!
