This is the one I have been waiting for, the one that I have wanted since the beginning, that’s right, the proper 9th Doctor Aztec Sonic Screwdriver.

As soon as the mailman handed me the shipping box, I had about torn into it, and finally, it was in my hands.

To say it is a well-made replica, is an understatement. Like all of CT’s replicas, it is second to none, but let me touch on some highlights:

Slider Function – The simplicity of how well this works is incredible. Having the UE, I was curious on how CT was going to make this happen, and WOW did he make it happen. By pulling/pushing the cage the sonic extends/retracts, and will stay in the position that you set it in, EVEN if it is only partially extended. I love that the light and sound works in any position. 10/10

Sound – The sound is nice and clear when the sonic is closed, but it is LOUD and clear when you extend it. It is louder than my UE and I thought the sound on that one was perfect. 10/10

Painting – With as much as I hear about the pain that crackle paint is, CT must have the patience of a saint. Could I nitpick and find flaws with the paint? Sure, but every one of these are done by hand and the paint responds different on each sonic. 9.5/10

Construction – Again, you can’t beat the solid construction of this sonic. The parts fit together perfectly, the teeth on the cage align perfectly, and in my opinion, I think this sonic is the best that CT has produced. 10/10

Customer Service – All I can say is, CT has never once disappointed me with his customer service. Any question or problem I have ever had with any of his Sonics, he has gotten back to me almost immediately. I didn’t have any batteries with my sonic (so I thought) and emailed CT to see what type I needed to get. In less than an hour I had an answer that the batteries were under the foam in the case. He is as professional as they come and I never hesitate to purchase anything from him. 10/10

If you are looking for THE Sonic Screwdriver to own, this is it. This design was carried by 2 different Doctors and is simply FANTASTIC!!!!!
