In a word, "fantastic!" The later 3-5 sonic gets all the love, but the Aztec is a masterpiece in and of itself and like everything else he produces CT has set the bar inexplicably high.

I think the thing that amazes me most is the engineering. Ct has managed to take a design that featured either a static extended or static closed and created a fully extendable piece and kept the light and sound that we have come to expect for a ct special. Despite the complex engineering the piece feels solid. I was concerned when I ordered that the piece would be too fragile, but I couldn't be more wrong. The extended mode holds up and doesn't slide back due to gravity, same with the non extended. I'm just going to assume CT is magic.

The paint is superb and while subtle in effect and creates a strong contrast to the later season sonics weathered look. I could go on but it becomes too repetitive. CT is a pro and this sonic is another fantastic example.

To be blunt: this thing is fucking awesome! It is a must have in any fans collection.
