As a prop collector, sonic screwdrivers are number 1 to me. So when the Aztec first hit our TV screens it immediately became a must have. Eight years later CT has finally made that a reality for us with his fantastic Aztec replica that has perfectly captured the original’s elegant curves, stylistic activation button and crackle finish.

If you are one of the few who thinks there is no need to have this stunning replica simply because you have a CT Ultimate Edition 10th, all I can say is think again. You need this. Trust me. First of all it’s perfect. Second it feels right in the hand. The static button placement feels natural. Sure it can’t slide the emitter up while you activate it but I can honestly say you don’t miss that aspect at all. Of course, the Emitter head can still extend and it will stay at any level you leave it and still activate the light and sound. Which means you’ll be fighting Daleks in the most impressive sonic screwdriver available in no time!

Bottom line is, this is a beautifully recreated piece of art that begs to be in your collection right next to its counterpart, the UE10. Ever since I’ve gotten one in my hands I can’t seem to put it back down again. For me, the CT Aztec is a dream come true and I can’t imagine not having one.
