11th/12th Doctor Sonic Screwdriver

I came into the office today and my co-worker tells me that I have a package waiting for me. The first thing I thought of was ... is it the sonic. It turned out to be another package that was expected tomorrow. I told my co-worker that I was expecting another package, but didn't know when it would arrive. 1130 rolls around and the mailman comes in with a box. You can't imagine the grin on my face. I knew what it was going to be.

I opened up the box, unpacked it, and opened up the case. Took the sonic out and felt the amazing heft of it. I had to take a moment to admire the beauty of it. Unscrewed the bottom and looked for the battery. It took me a few seconds to figure out it was hiding under the plaque with the red emitter. I popped the battery in, pressed the button, and loved the loudness of the buzz. I flicked it a couple of times. It felt great to do so.

There's not much more I can add to the review that hasn't been said by others already. This was definitely worth the wait. Can't wait to see what comes next ... perhaps the sonic trowel. :p
